Arrowhead Regional Medical Center’s Executive Chef is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the patient dining experience as well as making sure our guests eat healthier and better food options in the café. On a daily basis, the Chef manages the production and scheduling with the help of his supervisors, and budgets how much food to buy and oversees changes on the menus.
ARMC serves thousands of guests each day at the Arrowhead Café and at least 400 patients. Since our census changes daily we still have to produce enough food to feed every bed in the hospital which could be 456 patients a day. Maintaining quality, food safety, and creativity is a 24-hour job for a Chef at a large hospital like ARMC.
The café offers a variety of hot and cold menu items, as well as on-the-go sandwiches and specialty grill choices.

Wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of a patient’s treatment and recovery. Food and Nutrition Services offers freshly-prepared meal choices for lunch and dinner that also are tailored to a patient’s specific needs.

A coffee cart is located in the main lobby of ARMC near the front doors. Please note that the coffee cart is a third party not owned or operated by ARMC.
