ARMC’s Emergency Management Officer Named Chair of Healthcare Preparedness Committee

Colton, CA — Arrowhead Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Management Officer Steven Dougherty, Sr. joined the Inland Counties Emergency Medical Agency (ICEMA) last November 2023 as chair of its Healthcare Preparedness Planning Partnership (HP3) committee.
ICEMA shares ARMC’s goal to strengthen and enhance emergency preparedness planning and response activities for San Bernardino County residents. ICEMA helps provide structure and guidance to healthcare facilities throughout the county in order to sustain and enhance medical responses during emergencies and disasters through sharing of information and best practices.
Dougherty shared, “It is an honor and privilege to represent ARMC at HP3 where I can contribute to positive operational changes throughout the IE. I facilitate and lead our monthly meetings and bring vital information to the forefront of the overall committee that will improve healthcare preparedness in our region.”
Jon Hall, ARMC’s Facilities Operations Manager, shared, “As a regional leader in emergency response preparedness, we at ARMC believe the work that Steven is doing at HP3 will have a lasting impact on emergency response best practices throughout the county, which will ultimately help save more lives.”
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a 456-bed university-affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health, operated by San Bernardino County, and governed by the Board of Supervisors.
