Samantha Huang to Lead Population Health Initiatives at ARMC

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) has appointed Samantha Huang as their new Associate Hospital Administrator for Population Health. Huang will lead ARMC’s efforts around addressing the social determinants of health to provide health equity, value-based care, and enhanced care management to ARMC’s patients.

Huang received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Dublin Business School and is currently working towards her master’s degree in Organization Leadership from Claremont Lincoln University.

Huang comes to ARMC with over ten years of leadership experience and over 20 years in the health care field. Prior to coming to ARMC, Huang served as the Director of Managed Care at SnF Management Company, the Manager of Provider Contracting Service at Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), and the Supervisor of Chronic Care Improvement Programs at North American Medical Management (NAMM) California.

“I am so very proud to be a member of the ARMC team,” said Huang. “I look forward to serving my community, and all residents, through population health initiatives and meaningful collaboration with our health care and county partners.”

Population health initiatives aim to improve the clinical health outcomes of a defined patient population through an interdisciplinary approach to health care that includes improving care coordination, supporting patient engagement, addressing chronic and complex care, and working to overcome the issues that drive poor health conditions.
