Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) has selected Epic, the most widely used and comprehensive health records system in the United States, to provide a platform for integrated care and to ensure that patients have convenient digital access to their health information.
“This is a significant project that will allow us to use the latest advancements in health care technology,” said Hospital Director, William Gilbert. “This system is used by a majority of top-ranked hospitals and medical schools and aligns with our organizational mission.”
With an integrated system, all staff across ARMC’s hospital and clinics – from schedulers to clinicians – can more easily collaborate with patient care teams.
“Having this electronic health record will unify the health care delivery across our system,” said Chief Medical Information Officer, Dr. Reza Sadeghian. “All of ARMC’s staff are involved in the transformation and in the journey to create the best possible experience for our patients.
Patients at ARMC will benefit from “My Chart,” which allows patients and their designated caregivers to conveniently access their health information, communicate with providers, schedule appointments, pay bills, and more from a phone or computer.
