Our Initiatives

Recruitment and Outreach
“We are dedicated to recruiting residents from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented groups in medicine, working to eliminate barriers to entry and create a more diverse physician workforce. Moreover, we are dedicated to also having a diverse faculty.”

Training and Education
“Our curriculum includes training in cultural competency, bias recognition, and healthcare disparities to equip our residents with the skills necessary for culturally sensitive patient care.”

Support Networks
“We provide mentorship programs and support networks to help residents connect with peers and faculty members who can provide guidance and encouragement.”
